Dr. Vijay Gudipally
Dr. Gudipally is a graduate of APAU College of Veterinary Medicine in Hyderabad, India - Class of 1991. He received his MS in Medical Microbiology at Long Island University in 1996. He also received ECFVG certification from Iowa State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997.
Since his graduation, he worked as an Associate Veterinarian at Portage Park Animal Hospital in Chicago for 4 years. The next 2 years he worked as Relief Veterinarian in both general and emergency small animal practices in Chicago, San Antonio, Austin and Southern California. During this time he fell in love with Austin and has been an Austinite since 2002. He along with his wife, Indira Gudipally, started Pflugerville Animal Hospital in April 2003 and FM 685 Animal Hospital in Hutto in September 2009 and Texas Star Pet Care in Bee Cave in August 2019.
His favorite past time is attending his sons' football and basketball games, spending time with his family and their dog Maya, and working out regularly at his local gym.
Dr. Kelly Breazeale
Dr. Kelly Breazeale is a native Austinite. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University (‘95) and her master’s degree from Texas Tech University (‘03), both in animal science. Dr. Breazeale completed her veterinary degree in Scotland at the University of Glasgow, School of Veterinary Medicine, in 2011, where she was also admitted to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Dr. Breazeale has had a lifetime of understanding and respect for animals, having been reared on a ranch caring for horses, cattle, chickens, dogs, cats, and an occasional pig. From spending endless Texas summers on the back of a horse to bottle-feeding various species of baby animals, Dr. Breazeale has always had a passionate interest in the human/animal bond and animal welfare. Even as a little girl, Dr Breazeale understood that pets are family too because some of her best friends were animals.
Dr. Breazeale is especially interested in preventative medicine, general practice and pain management.
She joined Texas Star Pet Care as an associate veterinarian in 2019, eager to provide quality, compassionate veterinary medical care and make a positive contribution to the health of the animals of Central Texas.
In her spare time, Dr. Breazeale can be found enjoying time with her boyfriend and family traveling the world, fishing, boating, SCUBA diving and teaching her Australian Cattle Dog, Beaux, new words and tricks.
She looks forward to welcoming you to the Texas Star Pet Care family and building lasting relationships with you and your fur babies.
Casey is a native Texan, born and raised near the Gulf Coast. She moved to Austin with her husband and their cat, Roo in 2014. After moving, they quickly adopted another cat, Reggie, and their Terrier mix, Dezi later in 2016. Casey has been an animal lover all her life... Growing up, her family always had at least one cat and one dog in their family, which played a major role in nurturing her passion for both cats and dogs!
She graduated from Texas A&M - Corpus Christi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology (2009). In 2016, she began her career as a vet tech at a low cost spay/neuter and preventative care clinic in Austin. In July of 2019, she joined the Five Star team, bringing almost 3 years of vet tech experience, as well as several years of management experience to the table. She can't wait to meet you and your furry family members!
In her free time, Casey loves spending time outdoors... swimming, hiking, camping and all types of travel. She also loves live music and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.
Haylee Key was born and raised in Austin, Tx. She has always had a big heart when it comes to animals. Growing up, Haylee and her dad spent most weekends traveling to horse auctions and training horses together. On other weekends she spent time at her grandparent’s house, eager to help with the dogs, cats and chickens. Although Haylee shares a love for all animals, cows have always been her childhood favorite.
Haylee moved to the to Houston area in 2015 and resided there for four years. This is where she began her career as a Veterinary Technician. Here she had the opportunity to work with small animals, large animals and exotics. Although Haylee loved the Houston area, something had always called her back home.
Haylee recently moved back to the Austin area and joined Texas Star Pet Care in 2019. She is excited to share her passion for animals with you!
In her spare time, Haylee enjoys playing pool, spending time with her grandparents and playing with her precious puppy named Miley.
